Members journeyed to the
Clifton Hill Beach resort
in Point Fortin for a day
of sun, sea and fun. We
were like children again
as we congregated at
the Mid Centre Mall Car
Park in Chaguanas talking
about our restless night as
we anxiously awaited the
dawn. Our maxis came
and we left Chaguanas
amid chatter at about
8.30a.m, and journeyed
close to the Preysal High

A large contingent of Central Pride members attended TTARP’s
Annual General Meeting (AGM) at the Centre of Excellence,
Macoya. At the conclusion of the meeting, a few members took the
opportunity to pose for a picture as they waited on their transport for
the return trip to Chaguanas.
Above is a cross section

members as they
read the Reports and
prepared themselves for
the AGM .
Central Pride competed with the other zones at TTARP’s Annual All Fours and Games
Fiesta. Despite not wining any prizes, our group had a great time. Pictured above are our

our group boarded.
We arrived at Clifton Hill
around 11am, a little tired
but excited and full of
expectation for the day
ahead. Prior to our journey
we ordered lunch from the
resort to enable us to enjoy
a hassle free day, and upon
our arrival a delicious lunch
was brought out to the big
tent which we had rented
for the day. A Life Guard
was also hired for the day
to safeguard our swimming
members.
Members were not
disappointed as the day
delivered on its promises.
Some members enjoyed
the sea water; others
played board games,
shared their snacks and
drinks or simply enjoyed
each other’s company in
a spirit of camaraderie.
The rain eventually came
and ended a beautiful
experience at Point Fortin.
